About
Mowana Collective is a multidisciplinary healing practice rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Baobab, or "Tree of Life." The name Mowana, a Tswana word for this iconic tree, is a tribute to a specific Baobab that stood on a farm where I grew up in Botswana. This ancient tree, a thousand-year-old teacher, guardian, and healer, holds a deep personal significance that guides my work.
Just as the Baobab endures all and stands strong, we hold a space for profound personal growth and rooted transformation. Our multidisciplinary practice in Gauteng offers a grounded, integrative approach to wellness.
Here, healing is not a straight line but a weaving of paths; Reiki, Kambo, yoga, guided meditation, and immersive spiritual experiences each thread supporting balance, clarity, and transformation. The work is gentle yet profound, inviting a return to resilience, self-regulation, and the deeper intelligence that lives within.
The Baobab is often called the "Upside-Down Tree," with its branches reaching into the heavens and its roots grounded in the earth. This powerful image reflects our core philosophy: to act as living vessels that illuminate the inner landscape, and in doing so, co-create a reality of love, light and truth.
Every offering is held with integrity and care, guided by principles of ethical practice, cultural respect, and trauma-informed awareness. Healing is not something done for another, but a collaboration. An awakening of inner strength and wisdom that already reside within.
Mowana Collective does not seek to offer escape, but to call forth presence: a softening back into the body, a reconnection with the self, and a remembrance of the sacred rhythm that underlies all life.

Healing begins with deep listening to the needs and natural pace of each journey. From there, a path unfolds that is realistic, sustainable, and aligned. Where space is held for exploration, reflection, and growth without judgment.

My journey into healing has been a lifelong exploration of the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. From an early immersion in movement, meditation, and the natural world, I became attuned to the subtle currents that flow through all life - the invisible threads of energy, the rhythms of nature, and the ways conscious attention can awaken clarity, balance, and vitality.
Over the years, curiosity became devotion. My training spans Reiki, Kambo, Yoga, and other sacred practices, but these modalities are more than tools - they are expressions of a philosophy that healing is holistic, alive, and deeply personal. My path has been shaped and guided by teachers across cultures and lineages, each offering wisdom that has informed and strengthened my practice. Through these teachings, I learned that the role of a healer is a profound responsibility, a living commitment to hold both light and darkness with integrity, love, and discernment.
I walk a shamanic path not as a label, but as an embodiment: integrating indigenous and modern wisdom in service of healing. This path asks for vigilance, humility, and compassion, inviting me to hold space for transformation, guide safely, and honor the sacred intelligence of every being I encounter. My work is about witnessing, supporting, and catalyzing self-discovery, helping each person recognize the immense light, resilience, and inherent wisdom that already reside within.
I embrace the duality of student and teacher, continually learning from the world, and the practices themselves. My approach blends intention, creativity, and presence, creating sacred environment where change unfolds naturally, without force, expectation, or hurry. Every ceremony, session, and practice is a meeting point between inner wisdom and external guidance - a place to explore, release, and realign.
Mowana Collective is an extension of this way of being: a sanctuary for presence, exploration, and connection. It is a living holon, a space where practices honor each person’s unique rhythm, nurturing clarity, harmony, and vitality across body, mind, and spirit.
I invite you to step into this space and journey into the fullness of your being, awakening the wisdom, light, and healing capacity that already dwell within you.

How do I begin or know what’s right for me?
How do I begin or know what’s right for me?
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Begin with a simple conversation.
Together we’ll explore what’s calling you whether it’s physical renewal, emotional release, or spiritual alignment and choose an approach that supports where you are now. Every path begins with honesty and openness.
Do these practices replace medical treatment?
Do these practices replace medical treatment?
No. These practices work alongside medical and therapeutic care, not in place of them.
They support the body’s natural healing processes and help restore harmony between mind, body, and spirit. You should always consult a medical professional for diagnosis or treatment, especially for ongoing or serious conditions.
What is your view on integration and responsibility?
What is your view on integration and responsibility?
True healing doesn’t end when a session closes. Integration is how insight becomes embodied through daily choices, self-reflection, and care for the body.
My role is to guide and support; your role is to walk with awareness, discipline, and the willingness to meet oneself with honesty. I can hold space and offer tools, but the inner work is yours. Healing cannot be given only supported and remembered.
What does a session or ceremony feel like?
What does a session or ceremony feel like?
Each experience can be unique. Some moments are gentle and quiet; others move through intensity, release, or deep stillness.
There’s no single pattern to expect only an invitation to stay present with what arises. My work is to hold the field safely while you meet the truth of your own experience.
What guides my philosophy and work?
What guides my philosophy and work?
Compassion, integrity, and respect for all life.
I draw from both ancient and contemporary healing traditions, guided by the understanding that everything is alive with intelligence. Each session is an act of reciprocity between human and nature, seen and unseen, healer and guest.
